Third- On successful completion of the third year, the credits obtained will entitle a candidate to a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and AI degree.
Fourth- On successful completion of the fourth year, with the combined credits obtained, a candidate will earn a degree of B.Sc. (Honours) Degree in Data Science and AI.

Coursera Data Science Programme Length
This 4-year bachelor's degree uses a trimester-based approach and allows you to finish it in as few as eight years if necessary. There are at least 12 weeks of instruction in each term. Terms are separated by approximately two weeks.

Although there is no minimum credit requirement for each trimester, one must maintain active enrolment by paying a programme continuation fee of Rs. 5,000 per trimester if they do not intend to register for any credits during that trimester.

The Curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Data Science and AI Programme
Bachelor of Science in Data Science and AI, the B.Sc. (Honours) degree comprises a total of 299 credits, which includes core industry-oriented courses, an industry internship and a capstone project. The final year's capstone project takes up three trimesters. The credit load per trimester might be as low as 0 credits or as high as 40 credits.
The AI degree programme accommodates busy professionals or students pursuing more than one degree simultaneously. Except for the capstone project, each course lasts 12 weeks, and the programme requires an average of 18 to 20 hours per week of commitment.

After completing all courses up to the 9th trimester in the fourth year, Capstone projects of total credits 36 begin. B.Sc. (Hons.) degree requires both capstone projects and internships/term projects.
No supplementary examinations are provided. Candidates who fail a course must either enrol in it again and take the continuous assessments OR enrol just in the continuous assessments for that course, with attendance at the live meetings and online classes optional.
