IGNOU Entrance Exam

Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU Admission 2023 UG Courses

12th examination with science subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology.
4. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
50% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized board.
5. Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized board.
6. Bachelor of Business Administration
10+2 examination or equivalent BBA is a 3-year program and the maximum duration is 6 years.
7. Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS)
The candidates who have passed graduation with 50 percent marks or more from some recognized Universities in the general category and 45 percent marks or more in OBC/ST/SC/PH categories can apply for this course.
Applicants who have a graduation degree and one year of diploma in Library Science.
Candidates for this course must have completed their graduation requirements and have two years of operational experience in the library or information center. Students may continue with the 1-year Bachelor of Library and Information Science programme once they graduate.
8. B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic)
The candidates who have passed BPP from IGNOU or 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or college and a three-year diploma in GNM with two years of work experience in the profession are eligible to apply for this course.
Candidates with a 10th-grade grade point average or equivalent, a three-year general nursing and midwifery diploma, and nearly five years of work experience may also apply for this course.
If someone does not hold midwifery in the GNM Programme but has done a nursing course of around 6 to 9 months, can also apply to this program.
9. Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies (BTS)
10+2 or equivalent or the BPP course from IGNOU. Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies is a 3-year programme and the maximum duration is 6 years.
10. Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Course
The candidates who want to apply for this course must hold a BPP from IGNOU or 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or college. Bachelor of Social Work is a 3-year programme and the maximum duration is 6 years.
11. Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP)
Candidates should have no formal educational background. They must attain the age of 18 years.
Fee Structure for the UG Programs
The fee of the UG programmes included in the IGNOU Distance courses list is in the following range:-

11. MLIS Course

Category 1: The candidates with BA (Tourism)/BTS/B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration/, or a graduate degree in Hotel Management, or a graduate degree in any subject along with a Diploma in Tourism from some recognized University are eligible to apply.
Category 2: Students who hold a graduation degree in any field can also apply for this program. Students are required to clear four additional tourism institution courses for the duration of the program to complete their degree.

IGNOU Online Courses: Eligibility Criteria
1. Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMOL)
Students who have passed the 10+2 exam from a recognized board. The duration of the B.Com. programme at IGNOU is a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years.
2. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCAOL)
12th or equivalent. The medium remains English for BCAOL at IGNOU.
3. Bachelor of Library Science (BLISOL)
Students who earned a UG degree with minimum 50% marks & 45% for the reserved category students. The duration of B.LISOL is 1 year, and it can be exceeded to a maximum of 2 years as per the learner’s choice.
4. MA in English (MEGOL)
A graduation degree from a recognized University.
5. Master of Business Administration (MBAOL)
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks & for the reserved category and 45% marks at the UG level.
